Overview

The IDS Intruder Alarm 805 panel 8 zone , state of the art, microprocessor based, eight-zone Alarm Panel for security applications. You can program most features directly through the keypad or via the telephone system using the IDS download software and an appropriate modem. The system includes eight programmable burglary zones, an appropriate siren, auxiliary power outputs, and five outputs that you can configure for various trigger or switching functions. To ensure correct operation, use the IDS 805 with the specified transformer/battery combination and the appropriate peripheral sensors and signaling devices.

For trouble free operation please follow the instructions contained in this User Manual. Your security system consists of a control panel, one or more keypads and various sensors and detectors. An enclosure will contain the control panel which includes the system electronics, fuses and standby battery. There is normally no reason for anyone other than the installer or service professional to have access to the control panel.

• All zones are end-of-line supervised. Any unused zones must also be terminated with the appropriate resistor.
• Place the end-of-line resistor inside the sensor or as close to it as possible.
• If the zones do not report tamper by zone (i.e., programming a [0] into location 11), then use the 3K3 end-of-line resistor.
