ADDRESSABLE MANUAL CALL POINT SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS

Overview

Our addressable system manual call point was one of the first plastic element resettable call points to enter the market. Attractive in design, soft addressed and featuring heavy duty terminals the call point is market leading for installation speed with its fast fit clip.

You can choose from indoor and outdoor options for the call point. Which can be surface mounted using the rear BESA fixing or recessed mounted with the separately sold recessing bezels. In addition to the recessing bezels, a comprehensive range of accessories is available for this addressable fire system call point. Including protective hinge covers for busy areas, spacer plates, a resettable element kit, and packs of five spare glass pieces.

The surface-mounted version has an IP42 rating to protect against condensation, while the outdoor version features an IP65 rating. Making it dust-tight and providing water protection. A clever test function allows users to quickly and easily monitor the call point using the included resetting key. Which comes in the box with the call point and a frangible glass element. Additionally, a status LED located below the element clearly indicates when it has been triggered.

Eaton’s addressable call point range gives you the freedom to choose between a replaceable glass fragile element or a polycarbonate resettable element for ease of reuse.

It also comes with a reset key which gives you the ability to test the call point, reset a tripped call point, or remove the front cover to replace the glass element. Whichever version you choose, you can enjoy ease of operation.

Indoors or outdoors, install to suit the setting

You can surface mount the addressable call point range using the supplied back box or recess it into a standard UK single gang back box. An IP65 outdoor option is also available to protect against harsher conditions such as water jets and dust.

Save time and prevent potential errors with soft addressing

To set up a system with hundreds of devices, soft addressing is essential. Hard addressing requires an engineer to manually set the address of a device on the system. Which can be time consuming and a potential cause of addressing errors if working on a system of up to 200 devices. Soft addressing automates the assignment of addresses through an auto-learn process, and the panel controls this feature.

Protect the performance of your system with a short circuit isolator

All of our addressable devices include short circuit isolators, which protect the integrity of the loop from faults that could disrupt the system’s operation. In the event of a short circuit, the isolators allow adjacent devices in the loop to continue functioning, ensuring the fire detection and alarm system remains operational despite the failure of one device.
