HID® PROXIMITY OVERVIEW
The HID Proximity 125 kHz frequency card is a legacy style contactless card that was created in the earlier 1990’s. They are inexpensive and readily available but quite lacking when it comes to security. Prox is easily cloned with simplistic readers available throughout the web no matter what format you utilize today. HID offers a graphics quality surface optimized for badge printing with dye sublimation and reverse transfer printers.
The standard offering for cardstock composition is with 100% PVC and it’s available in a composite construction for a more demanding high wear and tear environments.
