OUTDOOR MOTION DETECTOR SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS
Overview
The motion detector is designed to detect movement in a protected area by detecting changes in infra-red radiation levels caused at any given time. For example, when a person moves within or across the devices field of vision, a trigger radio signal will be transmitted. Inclusion of this motion detector on other manufacturer’s wireless controller menu allows remote turn-on of connected modules and their connected lighting when the detector is triggered.
Motion sensors are trigger devices, like the ones in a security system that spark the alarm if they detect someone moving about the house. Motion sensors have other uses, too, like the ones that turn the garden lights on when someone comes near. While motion sensors are normally part of a full home security system. You can also build out your own hybrid system. That not only protects your home but also injects a good dose of convenience.
A compact and complete, easy to use Pyroelectric Infrared (PIR) Sensor Module for human body detection. It Incorporates a Fresnel lens and motion detection circuit that has high sensitivity and low noise. Output is a standard 5V active low output signal. Module provides an optimized circuit that will detect motion up to 6 meters away and can be used in burglar alarms and access control systems. Inexpensive and easy to use, it’s ideal for alarm systems, motion-activated lighting, holiday props, and robotics applications.
